I acquired a microwave oven a few years ago and have discovered that it is brilliant for sterilzing agar! 15 mins on high is plenty and so far all my control plates are clean. Hope this helps.

Woow! What a great idea! A site like this is brilliant!

I have one suggestion though! We have fought for years to be recognised as Technicians! How about calling this "The Website for School Lab Technicians" Just a thought worth considering.
