Supplier advised they had a "bad batch", replaced with lovely white crystals.
The brown stuff will be udsed for fun experiments!

Hi folks I opened a new container of Potassium Iodide this morning, and instead of the gleaming white crystals I was expecting, got a yellowy-orange sort of crystal. Sort of yellowy brown sugar.
