Re: How can I clean volumetric flasks?

Would the dishwasher on hot and pot cycle help. I am also a firm believer in nappy san using very hot water. Preferably in a container you could close so it says hot longer. Then there is rice with detergent and hot water, swizzle it, then use a large bottle brush. Pour liquid to next conical fask

I'm off the whole of term 4 for an operation, October 12 to December 4. This is for three days per week and I work from 7:15 - 3:20.
The science staff here are good to work with.
We had someone who can now no longer do the term :(

Wondering who out there uses compacting storage in their store room and what brand it is please. Any advise on using this type of storage. I've seen it in a school somewhere in the greater Sydney region.

Re: chemical register etc

I was approached recently by an australian company called "MSDS", they stated that they have a number of schools using their data base. So I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone is using it or something similar.

Are there schools out there using an alternative to chemwatch. If so how well are your needs met.
Just wondering what other schools may be using.

Re: Directive from DEC re New GHS labels

Hi Helen,

I totally agree with what has been said. I am also implementing the changes here as it only makes sense to put the GHS labels on when new labels are needed.

Yes Sunray you can do it with the small labels, but not the GHS labels which are the ones we have to change over to.
