We have been using Risk Assess for over a year and with the support of my HOD it works well. In our school all Science pracs must go through Risk Assess. It gives you a clear schedule for preparation and teachers can clearly see what everyone else is doing and remodify to suit themselves if need be....

I recently bought scilist and whilist it has taken me forever to enter my equipment and chemicals it is very worthwhile. Obiviously the more time you put into it the more productive it will be for you.

I use a probe or a drill to clean out the nozzle, and if unsuccessful unscew the gas cock so to get at it from the other end. You must be carefull not to shove whats blocking the gas cock, further into the gas line. If then unsuccessful I get the maintenance man or plumber in.

We buy our distilled water through Blackwoods Pty Ltd. They are in most larger cities. 20 litre drums costs approx. $30.00.
