Re: STANSW annual conference

Hi Jazz, I do believe it was you who sent me the Spirit Burner labels??? I did email you asking where they came from. I did not know they were from Chemwatch. I guess you have paid for chemwatch. With DET schools we do not have that choice. So I would be unable to use those lovely looking labels for...

Re: MSDS Expiry

When you first go on to Chemwatch, you do need to click or push the Teacher Mode , has a little hat as the picture. As we go on to the site, it puts us down as student each time. So click on the Teacher Mode, and that should be fine. I have forgotton sometimes, so I can only get a soultion. Regards

Re: making soap

Here is NSW and the CSIS we could not use 6M Sodium Hydroxide, with Year 10's.

The book said years 7-10 could use 2M, otherwise should use Soluitions of 1M only. But I am not too sure what goes on in QLD.

Re: MSDS expiry date

I understood, it was only replaced when a new MSDS was issued. I go through our MSDS once a year, to see which has changed, or been re-issued. Or perhaps you could use the work updated. Useing Chemwatch. Some times their are a lot other times very few, need reprinting.

Re: Update on MSD sheets

I believe W.A and many of the other states, have different law's & regulartions. NSW is a little different again, we have to use Chemwatch. Perhaps one day they will put us all on the same level (So to speak). We really do not mean to confuse you all, but the NSW system can be a little confusing...
