The first row is level 1, salary point 1. Second row is still level 1, but salary point 2. Continues down until we get to row 7 which is level 2, salary point 1. Second last row is the start of level 3.

Hope that makes a bit of sense.

Thanks for the replies people. We took the approach that Mel mentioned, we decided that for this teacher it was a no go.

I took the last 2 weeks of term off, so had 4 weeks away. Spent the first part on the Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games and ended in Melbourne via Sydney and Canberra. Had a great time away and loved the games! Sad it went all to quickly.

I have been a few times before to CONASTA and there has always been relevant things for Lab Techs, especially the workshops.

We use lab coats here. Every student has to supply their own. We have 4 spare on a rack in each lab. The spare ones are navy blue so we can see straight away if they didn't bring their own and their prac mark gets marked down accordingly. We use matches here. I send out full boxes and get them back full minus the 3 or 4 that were used!
