We sometimes put the agar plates in a dark cupboard, its hot enough up here around 32oC inside the cupboard or place them near a hot water system, mould still grows like crazy.

Right on Rosalie :clap3: I couldn't agree more. OH&S gone mad. Who eats anything out of the science lab anyway, especially something that looks like glue, smells like glue but wait its in a sauce bottle so it must be sauce :crazy: Its so hard to make the teachers comply with OH&S and RAs etc...

I dont know about you Smee but I certainly remember being hot and sweaty and very uncomfortable at school especially coming into class after PE. WOW I thought all schools were airconditioned now- a -days. Every room in the school is airconditioned here except my prep rooms But I have a separate office that Is air-conned so I cope very well, I choose my times to go upstairs and wash up, prepare etc.
