Hi Lindy,
Re the Acetic acid, I've always presumed vinegar was 4% Acetic acid, (or 0.5M).
Hope this helps.

Hi Helen,
I would love a copy as well. If we can adapt any experiment to food, we do it!

Thanks, Ellice.

Re: Filtration Apparatus
Hi all, We finally bit the bullet earlier this year, and bought new crucibles. After shopping around, the best deal I got was from Science Supply Australia. Sintered glass crucibles were $30.36, and the rubber gaskets to go with them were $5.65. Had great success this year with nearly 100% accuracy!...

Re: Eyes for dissection
Hi Carol,
I have no trouble getting eyes from Ziem's butchers at Corrimal. May need a bit of notice. Also a good source for kidneys and hearts. But if you need a good pluck, the only place seems to be Steve's Butchery at Warrawong.
Regards, Ellice.

Cleaning burettes
Further to the subject of burettes, any hints on getting them really clean? We used to use chromic acid in the good old days, but that's out of the question, as its banned. Also, has anyone heard of teflon coated burettes? Apparently less beading on inside, so more accurate readings.
