Re: First day back and not happy

Yes it has happened to me here too. Unfortunately the freezer had toads, hearts and eyeballs in it. Worst job ever to clean it out. I did eventually get the smell out so perservere if you think its worth it. Lesson learnt: I never keep any meats in the freezer over the holidays, what ever is left ov...

Re: disposal of contaminated solids

I have saturated solutions made up and when a prac is required I pour about 20 mls into small labelled beakers . I then top up my sat solutions with water ready for the next prac. This has lasted me all year. No complaints just praise which is nice.

OMG!!!! That is scary Smiley....Unfortunately its a way of life up here. I bloody hate crocs almost to the point of crocphobia. Holy cow I dont think I would be taking a bunch of girls there for a field trip though, that would be enough to frighten me off. We always tell the kids there is a possibil...

Ours are the same as AnnNos. Easy to fold up and robust. Easy to store. Just some conduit and rope tied through them. We have 50cm and 1M quadrats.

Re: How big is it?

WOW,

The x-labby here slaughters their own meat. She brought me in a bullocks pluck once OMG it was freakin huge and heavy. It didn't fit in the freezer so everyone had to use it within 24 hrs.
Kids loved it they could stick their fingers in all sorts of places (with gloves on of course).
