At the end of each day I sign and save the RA's into a file labelled the current year ... NO PAPER here ... and then end of year they are saved onto 3 thumb drives, one for science, one for whs and one for archives ...

I have a contents list (which just involves printing the 1st column of chemical manifest from excel) and how it appear on the contents list is how it is filed ... so 1-butanol etc are under the B etc .. and DONT staple them you end up with bulky corners ...

It took me 2.5 years to sort through everything aka equipment, chemicals and reduce and chuck ... so keep it up sharon you will get there ... We disposed of our chemicals last year and its so enlightening ...

We are independent school and use the risk assess system and yes the CSIS info is over 20 years old so we take the higher of the recommended ... which is usually risk assess ... in this instance it is recommended for Teacher Use only ... It has a pretty long list of warnings : May cause cancer May c...

Same as most we put about 6 matches in each box - 8 boxes per class - i had an abundance of plastic soap dishes and the 8 fit in that ... and then i have about 8 boxes of matches labeled :TEACHER ONLY: in case they need a refill in class ...

Hi Kate I think it's a great idea to hyperlink to the SDS PDF. Can I ask a question, if you don't mind? The PDF that you have hyperlinked to in Chemwatch, will the print date change to the date that you print that PDF? Or does it stay at the date that you hyperlinked it in your spreadsheet. I hope ...
