I am making up a 0.02M solution of potassium permanganate. Instructions are dissolve by heating and then when cool filter through glass wool. We have no glass wool. Would ceramic wool be just as good , or can I use filter paper?

Thanks, and to Robb and Sue from a previous entry. I now have enough info to probably not filter the fresh one and not keep it too long. Or use paper if needed. It was great to get such quick replys.
