I Googled the word and found out so many things that I never knew.
I will also be careful next time I go to the butcher and ask for a pluck !

oh yeah!!! youhave to say the word VERY CAREFULLY - especially if there are other customers! and especially if they are elderly women who are hard of hearing

The pluck is the name given to the group of organs that are plucked from the thorax by the trachea. It's not any more involved that that.
