We only clean up the Teachers desk in the lab and equipment trolleys and bays but as for the general clean up of the room, well that's up to the Teachers and the HOD and I are always reminding them that it's their work space so clean it. Even this I can only do when the time and opportunity comes about.
Sinks always get checked and cleaned during the holidays. I'm always amazed on how many can't even manager that then you just have to look at their desks in the staff room and say no more.....

They probably get a cleaner in on minimum wage.

You would be surprised at the state of their homes or maybe not. They are generally as bad at home as they are at work.
