Hi Everyone,
My SAM has asked me to provide a job description or a list of duties. I was wondering if any of you actually already have something made up or could direct me to a book or something online. I just dont know where to start....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Good Morning
I would start by listing everything you do over a week!

Re: Job Description
It should be the other way around, your SAM should be providing you with a job description.
And if not they should be asking your Head Teacher of Science.
Be wary of SAMs wanting to use your time else where.
If you use Risk Asses use the spreadsheet option to list all pracs this year and write preparation time next to each one.
I have asked teachers to put every thing they request on risk Asses( even if they pop in and ask for quick requests)
Also use the provided list of duties and write estimated time to do each task.

Have a read of the attached document and keep a copy on hand for when someone asks you what it is that you do.
