Motic Microscopes

Post by cactus155 »

Was wondering if anyone has any maintenence tips for Motic SFC-100FL microsopes.

As I have a number of these microsopes that the students have adjusted the screw behind the stage and now you cannot focus on the samples particularly on the 400x magnification. You can turn the coarse and fine focus to their maxium and still not be able to see the image. How can I adjust the focus so that students can actually use the microscopes?

Thanks in advance

Can you find someone in your area who is good at this? We have an retired Science Teacher who comes to the scool twice a year and goes through all the microscopes and cleans and adjusts them. Students do to ours what they have done to yours, and he fixes them for us... advertise perhaps?
