Electrical Safety Picture

Post by Slartibartfast »

Was sent this picture this morning, I hope that power board isn't live or it won't be the snags on the BBQ that cook!

These guys (poms obviously) are asking for trouble!

Notice there were no ladies in your picture. There must have been large sums taken out of insurance before this picture was taken.

How clever they are - floating the power board in thongs!!!
What a shame such a "brains trust" probably will be fried out of existence! :wink2:

And once again I say "to think we experiment on harmless animals when there are perfectly good specimens to experiment on out there!" 8O

I think a couple of our students would be good candidates for this.
Yesterday two students hooked up two transformers and then connected one wire with bare wires on the end (they removed the alligator clip) into the powerpoint.
Teacher didn't know what they had done and when he touched the setup it sparked the inserted bare wire, blew it out and blew the fuse to the science department, LUCKILY.
He said he got a fairly decent shock out of it as it happened.
Little ##**'s.
One of the students has only been back one day, after being suspended for a month, for walking over the top of a teachers new van in the car park. It has a ladder connected to the back of the van so he thought he would try it out.

Well said Loopy.
This is the survival of the fittest(or the dummest?)
Electricity and water is a great combination for any jokes.

I reckon there are some people out there so desperate to be "temporary citizens", that one should just give them their Darwin award before the fact and lock them in a room with water and electricity!

More for you of an electrical theme (except for the middle pic which is just plain lunacy and had to be included!)

Very good, but I still just love the silly pommies in the first one. Love the middle one, good.

Thanks Richard,
