24th November? Yikes! I don't know what I am doing on 24th February, let alone 24th November. I am still catching up with 24th January.
Have a great 2009, all you super organised people!!

Re: SASS Conference St Marys
The question was, what does SASS stand for. Not too sure why it was put in this group. No we are not still talking about 24th Nov.
Ian are you ahead of your self, happy 2009, where have you been???

Re: SASS Conference St Marys
Hi All!
Just want to say how much I got out of the conference. It is only day 3 for the kids, and already I have made agar with confidence (unlike last year when I made it hoping it would work because I didn't really know what I was doing!!) and the kids have looked at euglena under the microscope. In addition to that, I have used the flow chart from the CSIS course (which I went to the following week) booklet to neutralise some of the heavy metals (which is what lead to my post yesterday on chemical waste). Perhaps I should do the chemical waste seminar this year. I couldn't fit it in last year. Anyway, just wanted to tell the organisers (if you are reading this) that I can honestly tell the school it was money well spent!! Thanks for all the hard work that went into it.
