Hello Everybody,

Does anyone use anything other than hexane, hexene, cyclohexane, cyclohexene for the bromination experiment?

Hi Carol,

You can choose any double bonded Organic Molecule and obviously a single bonded one for comparison.

OCTENE, HEPTENE etc. Any double bonded Organic. Even longer chained ones work well also 4-METHYL-2-HEXENE for instance.

Hope this adds to your repertoire.

Although sourcing these other liquids may be a costly one both time and cash flow wise..

Cheers,

Robb....
