Dear All, I recently bought Isocol for a simple prac with the middle school involving oil and glitter, density ,emulsion that type of thing. It has not got a flammable sticker on it .It is a 64% solution of iso propanol. Should it be labelled flammable. If not at what percentage solution is a flammable no longer a flammable ?see ya Louie
//EDITED by adam. Reason: make subject more descriptive
labeling for Isocol
Isopropanol
Hi Louie,
According to Chemwatch, isopropanol is classified as a flammable liquid at 50% (I didn't look for anything more dilute).
Hope this helps
