Are there any other good science equipment suppliers out there other than:
Labtek
Haines
Livingstone
OfficeMax
Westlab
Serrata
Southern Biological
Biotek

Finding it harder and harder to get things at decent prices. Spend my days going through catalogue after catalogue.....

You have listed most of the companies that anyone might use. Google Omega Scientific Pty Ltd. The website has a products page but it is the price list section that lists most of what is available. All the prices are GST inclusive. My understanding is that originally feedback from lab technicians helped to provide a better quality of equipment supplied to schools. Worth a try. See if you can get an up to date catalogue/pricelist. Laboratory chemicals are also supplied.

I get a bit of physics stuff at Scientrific too. They have a rep who even does circuits of the Far North, which gives it a nice personal touch!

Thanks. We use Scientriffic quite a bit. The label maker from Omega is great and the asset organiser looks good too.

Hi there,
- We use Electus Distribution. They are an online arm of Jaycar that is much cheaper than Jaycar and general suppliers. We have used then a lot as well as our TAS department. Very quick delivery.
- Ordermax have products that are well priced although their science specific equipment is sourced from Livingston I believe.
- Graph paper downloadable online
- Cospak (there may be a company like this one up there) have dropper bottles, jerricans from 1Lt (for stock solutions)and other useful stuff (well priced tote boxes) HDPE dispensers so that products like universal indicator cannot get contaminated.

Like Judy says there is Science Supply, (Melbourne based) I order most of or if not all my chemicals from them and some of the other stuff is cheaper than the others.
For the physics stuff I use Wiltronics
