Hi, can anyone tell me where the name 'pluck' came from? Can only find one thing that these body parts were plucked from body ...

I Googled the word and found out so many things that I never knew.
I will also be careful next time I go to the butcher and ask for a pluck !

That is actually it.

The pluck is the name given to the group of organs that are plucked from the thorax by the trachea. It's not any more involved that that.
