Iodine Solution Label (& Chemwatch FFX)

Post by Merilyn1 »

Hi All. Just making up a new solution of Iodine (3g Iodine and 15g KI to 1L water). I'm confused with the label option on Chemwatch. I've printed the label for Iodine Solution and it shows it as "Danger". Am I in the right place? What have other people used?

Thanks in anticipation.

Yes they all come up with Danger, Iodine strong or the weak one, they have to cover there back too.

1M citric acid comes up with danger and yet it is code blue.
I'm afraid I think the GHS system is a long way from being satisfactory!
