Hello,I need to make stannous chloride for a year 12 prac test, it is supposed to be clear however it is very murky,I read up on the fact that it hydrolises with water and forms a basic insoluble salt so I need to dilute it with HCL to which I added equal amounts of the 0.1 M stannous chloride to 0.1 HCL, nothing has happened can anyone please shed some light on the correct preparation of this.I need 4 litres of it !!
