Welcome back. I hope you had a good break and not too stressed by the increased workload (flat out trying to keep on top of orders).
I am having trouble sourcing biurets reagent solution. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Biurets reagent
Re: Biurets reagent
We use 1M sodium hydroxide and 0.1M copper sulfate dropper bottles and get a good result. A higher molarity of the sodium hydroxide is recommended but then we can't use it with years 7-10.

Re: Biurets reagent
Same here except the copper sulfate is usually 0.5M. It makes a nicer purple. Gives it that WOW! factor.
Re: Biurets reagent
We use 2M sodium hydroxide. So I checked CSIS (as we have a green dot on it) under <4M to >1M sodium hydroxide and it says its ok to use with yr 7-10 for biuret test. So all good!
