Benedict's Reagent Recipe or purchase

Just wondering in my ignorance (new to the job) do you make up Benedict's Reagent or do you buy it made up? If you make it up does anyone have a recipe to follow please ?

I buy it too, but "The Laboratory" has the following method for preparation.

17.3g copper (II) sulfate, hydrated
100g sodium carbonate, anhydrous
173g sodium citrate, hydrated
1L distilled water
1. Dissolve sodium carbonate and citrate in approx 750mL distilled water by warming. Filter.
2. Dissolve copper sulfate in approx 100mL cold distilled water.
3. Pour the citrate-carbonate solution into a large beaker and add the copper sulfate solution slowly with constant stirring.
4. Make up the total volume to 1L with distilled water.

Thanks heaps - Thinking buying it might the the best option.
