Sulfur

I need to melt some sulphur for electric conductivity. I know you melt it in a test tube and pour it into? water or just a beaker I can't remember. Please help

not sure why do you need to melt sulfur.U
se sulfur roll, brake it into smaller pieces and use it for the experiment

I melted sulfur in an evaporating dish in the fume cupboard, then poured it onto a metal tray to set. Once it was set, the teacher then used the lumps to test for conductivity.

I melted it in an evap dish and had made a long tube out of alfoil and poured it in. When cold then it can be used for conductivity
