electronic balance repairer required

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a repairer for an Ohaus balance which fell off a lab bench? :cry: Someone in Sydney or Wollongong would be preffered.

Hi Bullster,
I would recommend asking the supplier if they have a preferred repairer but if that fails, try Serrata (9651 3033) or ISSCO (Industrial & Scientific Supply Co) on 02 9743 2588 or John Reid of Broken Bay Communications 0407 498 520.

I don't want to rain on your parade, BUT there is basically 2 parts to a balance
1. The load cells, if the balance landed pan side down they have probally "had it"
2. The electronic slope board. If either of these have gone you will get the answer, "uneconomical to repair"

Eddie is a ex science teacher, and will give you a quote before he start's repairing items. If you think it is too costly, he will deliver the item back unrepaired. He really is worth a look at.
