HI I realise its the last day of term and I am sooo ready to be gone already but I just recieved my new autoclave and it is one that requires and external heat source, any suggestion as to what I should be using/ getting ?

well I did think of that but pyrex doesnt melt does it? becasue it's high hest resistant. I may be wrong

Yeah I got a bunch of beakers about a month ago think I ordered about 4 dozen. I work in an independant school. ALL staff have their first aid certificates (paid for by the school) but I'm pretty sure one or two of the office ladies are the designated First Aid Officers (the one's that get paid the extra). on further investigation it's not the actucal probe at al it is the unit itself. I switched the probes from one of the working ones and it's still not working, hmmm will have to track down a supplier. ![Dry :-|](./images/smilies/dry.gif)

ok so after some research im gunn just guess that the probe is stuffed, by the looks of it the meter I have has replaceable probes so i will have to go looking for a replacement

Hi all, Im having a bit of a problem with one of my pH meters. I was calibrating them all befor a prac today and one of them is doing some weird stuff! when placed in the pH7 buffer it quickly goes to a pH -0.8 where all the other meters go to pH 7.1. does anyone have any idead whats going on and if...

The maintenance man just came to se me and had informed me that the tap was fixed two weeks ago and wanted to know if anyone had bothered to check it, hmmm we shall see at recess if it works or not. Yep! but thats because I dont go to the morning meetings with the teaching staff (most of it is irrelevant i.e. which student is on detention/suspension, when reports are due etc) and i rarely venture down to the front office.
