Can anyone tell me how to edit print size of chemical labels? I use the GHS 14 small labels and trying to reduce the actual print size.
Thanks.

Re: Fume Cabinet testing
Fume cupboards should be maintained and tested according to AS2243 Safety in Laboratories and WorkCover NSW. To ensure that there is adequate air flow it should be checked periodically. We have 2 fume cupboards and we have contracted Dynaflow to check once a year.

Re: Sterilizing Rubber Stoppers
Use Milton (dilute solution) to soak the stopper and tubing, overnight before using. No need to rinse. Check your broth, I use boiled chicken broth. takes time for reaction (usually 2-3 weeks) to be visible, when weather is too cold, I put them (set-up) in and out incubator to have a warmer temperat...

Re: Lugols Iodine
Lugol's Iodine and iodine solution are almost similar-used to test for starch and for staining specimens for microscopic examination. however, this solution deteriorate with light and age, so fresh solutions are preferred or check your solutions if colour has not faded.Maximum shelf life is 1 yr.

Re: Safety training for teachers
Simple things to consider would be to read all labels to know whether the item is hazardous or not, so that staff/teachers would know if it would be safe for students to use. washing of hands after handling chemicals, working in ventilated area, avoid inhalation and cross contamination, washing of e...
