Hello
I just want to check this. If I'm making acidified solutions to use in a voltaic cell do i add 15mL of 0.1M sulfuric to 1L solution I'm making. Eg Zinc sulfate etc. Or should I use a higher conc. of acid???
I'd appreciate your help.
Thanks Krysia

Rumkorff induction coils
Hi We recently bought 2 of these things from Serrata. The instructions really only tell what the induction coil is but nor how to use it. We've just spent an hour or more trying to get the spectrum tubes to glow or trying to produce a spark and nthing is happening. It is actually making a noise so s...

Amylase
Hi
One of my teachers always has trouble getting the amylase to work. We get it from Southern Biological. Does anyone else encounter this problem.

Something I got from this site was to put a liitle rice, sand and water in the bottom of the evaporating basin with a magnetic stirrer and let it go till clean. Works a treat.
