has anyone had any luck buying BORAX powder?
On the current tub i have it says 'in the laundry aisle' I have been up and down woolworths, different woolworths and cant see it.
Is it something like Junket, that i would more likely find in IGA?

i use a school account, and you need to spend 20 or 30 minimum to use it (depends who is on the register), not sure how it would go doing 3 transactions on one invoice for school?
And dammit, i forgot to get a packet to replace one that has been ordered :-/

yes woolies are cheaper - about 5.95 a packet, $8 from the pharmacy.
So i have to stock up over a few trips for when we are doing that prac.
And thats why I use aspro - its a lot cheaper....maybe even trying the homebrand ones...

I am sure the people at woolworths wonder what am going to cook with some of the combinations I buy. 10 boxes of matches, metho, kero, bi carb and vinegar, eggs, tea bags and milk powder, onion and potato and liver! DET staff just got a small pay rise - it is now $27.77 per hour. I remember when I was a new grad from uni and earning $12.36 per hour!! and it only went up to about $18 per hour and it was the usual 40 hour work week, 1 RDO per month, 10 sick days and 4 weeks annual leave..... now I love my conditi...

I used a piece of fishing twine in mine, i thought I was the ants pants LOL

Very fine, and didn't break the tip...unlike the probe i used last year - that wasnt fine enough...whoops!
