Yes we use a range too. Plastic and some porcelain trays for acids and bases conc. Just bought them down the street at the el cheapos. Good hint to put bottles in containers that can hold all their contents if spill. Will have to look at some of our containers thanks!

Our magnesium nitrate is older as well and is still crystallized, but it is hydroscopic (absorbs water) as well. I would do my best to weigh out the amount needed, other than that order some new chemical, i know this is costly. All the best!

fume cupboard
Can anyone help me? We need to get our fume cupboard serviced. Who does this? Any suggestions would be most welcome. I am in Orange NSW, wondering if someone local might be able to do this?
