Elizabeth i just gently tip the container and pour out what i need - i have a winchester of it made up so i have always plenty of solution above the sediment.

Microscope service and repairs

Is there any one out there familair with Orion monocular microscopes please. I need to do some repairs and servicing and they are a bit differnt to ones i have work on before - they seem easy to look at but i thought some words of wisdom from others could not hurt before i start. yes i have to do it...

This may be a long shot but try the airlines - i think Qantus still use them on some flights - like i said long shot but give it ago.
Also food banks may have them - i know here in WA one of the food banks gets them in.

For interest what type /brand if you want of gloves do you wear when making up chemicals , washing up and so forth ? Are they the one in the same? What makes you choose them? Where do you buy them?

Hey there Kimmy A simple method I use is coat hangers - i clip the alligator clip to the wire of the coat hanger - easy for the kids to put back up - mind you this works best for alligator to banana (other wise there are hook up issues with hanging alligator clips). Hello one and all.

Ok from the Chem storage post I have a spin off question.....
Is there a maximum amount of flammables allowed before a flammable cabinet is required?
As in total of say 20 L maximum before a flammable cabinet is required to store your flam chems in.
