OR use a broken Magnetic, in a plastic case, slides up the side of glass, and there is your magnetic stirrer.

Re: Weigh boats

We use to have a news letter, that went out to parents/Carers etc. We put in once we needed some of those. And boy oh boy did we get over 500. Seems a chap worked for them. All seconds but worked for us. Worth a try?

Re: Venting about ventilation...

Always keep your mobile phone in your lab coat pocket, you just never know. I knew a labbie that slipped on the floor, broke her leg years ago now. Only the cleaner heard her calls. If you work alone, which most of us do. A simple phone in your pocket can help.

Re: Sodium phosphinate/Sodium hypophosphite

Sodium hypophosphite is the sodium salt of hypophosphorous acid and is often encountered as the monohydrate, NaPO2H2·H2O. It is a solid at room temperature, appearing as odorless white crystals. It is soluble in water, and easily absorbs moisture from the air.

Text books, do you get them returned to you?

At the end of year do you get the students Yr 12 to return the text books or do you buy new ones?
