We have an old Townson & Mercer cloud chamber that teacher would like to dust off and use for demo, problem is we no longer have instruction manual, would anybody out there have an instruction manual that they could photocopy and fax to me. Appreciate any offers, Thanks

Re: barium sulfate prac for yr12
The trick to filtering barium sulphate is to use a glass filter crucibe (sinter) No.4, this is specially designed to filter the ultra fine BaSO4. Any vacuum will do, but it is a much quicker job if you have access to an electric pump.

Re: Cap gun MSDS
This might be a bit too late, but it may be of help to some of you out there. I have a Chemwatch M.S.D.S for sports PE signal caps, it took forever to finally be listed on Chemwatch. I will email it to anybody who requests it, unfortunately it's too big to send here.

Re: Fe(SCN) waste
Sorry, I should have said that FE(SCN) is a 50/50 mix of 0.1M Fe(NO3)3 + 0.1M KSCN (20ml of each) then made up to 1 litre with water.

Does anybody know of anything li...
