Re: Frozen brains
We freeze them sometimes & have never had a problem.
We also have had to freeze eyeballs, hearts, livers etc... all thaw out ok & are fine for dissection.

Re: VAN de GRAAF Generator!!!!!
Hi,
Our kids & teachers love the Van de Graaf but we found the Wimshurst machine works better as the humidity doesn't seem to affect it.
I love hearing the kids scream when they get zapped !! Is that wrong ???

Cedar wood oil
Hi All, I recently received new microscopes ( digital) that came with cedar wood oil. Our Chem teacher seems to think this oil is no longer allowed in schools. I can not find anything about it, though I did manage to print off MSDS. It only seems to be harmful to the environment. Does anyone know an...

Re: Safe Work Procedures?? Risk assessment
Morning everyone,
this may seem like a stupid question..but do RA's have to be done for ALL pracs or just those involving chemicals??
I was told by one of the teachers here that I need to have them done even for a prac ( making ooze) that only has corn flour & water .
Thanks
