With solutions, we have a label on the back of the bottle, and put the date in ink on the label, yes sometimes it gets wet, but it does not matter really...

Van De Graaf Generator

Hi folks,

We have a very old Van De Graaf Generator given to us, only last week. How would I clean it? So far I have used warm soapy water, and things are looking a little better. But the main silver dome, is awful. What would you suggest I use??

Can I use Silver cleaner?

Re: Universal indicator

Try adding a few drops of 0.05M Sodium Hydroxide untill the mixture returns to green. Some times it works fine, other times it will not return to green.

Good luck

Re: Risk Assessment Sheets

I believe the CSIS package states, in NSW that the teacher do the risk assesments sheets, I do the filing of them, and get them out, I even type them up, but only once the teacher has completed them and signed by the Head Teacher, do I start typing on them.\Page 20-24 in Volume 1 All Schools K-12. We keep ours in a Paper Ream box, the strong cardboard boxes the paper arrives in. The A4 size fits all the bits put down in CSIS. Much cheaper then purchasing one. Remember to put a sign above the Spill's Kit So everyone can see where it lives. We have had ours for about 4 years now, as they never ...

We can not leave the students bags outside, due to thief from other students. As they come into the classroom, they must put their bags into a cupboard, of course taking out their equipment for Science, pens books etc.
We also do not allow Mobile phones, but some do get through of course.
