legal requirement for chemical training
Hi All,
I was wondering whether someone knows whether all school staff need to be trained in "chemical safety in schools". we have not done any training for a number of years. Do we have too, is it a legal requirement?
Thanks Superbug

Re: is Gallium banned in schools?
Not sure! It is solid at room temp but melts in your hand (with gloves on) to a liquid.
I have some here but only found info on Chemwatch. So I thought maybe it was banned.

is Gallium banned in schools?
Hi all,
I know most of us are in holiday mode or too busy before getting into holiday mode.
Does anyone know whether Gallium is banned in schools? It is not in risk assess or the CSIS manual.
Thanks

Re: Help
no, its no good if it was written in 2002. All SDS"s have to be replaced every 5 years from date of issue. Issue date is used to calculate expiry date.

Hi Labbie,
we are going to be doing a big clean up of textbooks around week 9 so you can have anything we dont require. I think it may only be the biology one though and maybe chemistry. How many are we talking about?
