Re: New Chemwatch for schools GOLD FXX

Hi spoke to AIS on friday. (australian independant schools people),
They told me that everyone with them will be transferred to gold fxx during the holidays. So when we start term 4 we should be starting under the new system.

Re: chemical cards

Is that the ones with beakers, and other apparatus on the white ruled card which explains the uses etc. if so I have most of these cards if you need them for scanning. If someone would pay for the postage there and back or pickup is acceptable.

Thanks Superbug

Re: chemwatch

Hi June,
Are you an Independent school or public? Jazz was saying that if you were private you had to register your school, so therefore we had a choice.

Not aware of anything but we keep 10 transformers in each classroom so I only have to cart around the light boxes.

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know whether diluted chemicals from 0.01 to 1M chemicals can be stored in alphabetical order or do I have to follow the the concentrated powder & liquid (bulk) storage zones?

Re: Borax supply

we use Borax in the plastic container with a red lid. it says "wards Mckenzies" but if you type in harpers borax it takes you to the same place. we use it for experiments. Not sure what or that pascoes makes the powered borax.
