Toluidene Stain

Morning/Afternoon peoples,

I would appreciate some info about the stain, Toluidene. I know it's used
for showing the different structures and cells in say celery, but can it be substituted for another stain (apart from iodine)?

I don't have any Toluidene on hand and it's not worth buying it in for one prac a year.

Jules you should have said something when you were here i happen to have soem . If you are coming this way you are more than welcoem to soem of it - or alternatively when are you free for that meeting this week? lol we could swap it then
