my school will be audit in a few weeks.
Msds is updated, stock take from last year.
Any more information i should know ?

Do you need SOPs in NSW? When we were audited 4 years ago, we had to have SOP's in place for all equipment & activity.

Yes we do need SOP's in NSW it is part of the CSIS, standard Operating program or something like that. sept 1 turn on, press red button on left, some thing a long those lines. I feel sure you get the picture. Should be attached to all working equipment, fume cupboards, uv lamp, etc etc. We even have them on our power packs, for new teachers. The smart boards also have one.

SOP: Standard Operating Procedure

Our Lab Association and SASTA (Science Teacher's Association) have a CD containing Word files of common SOPS. I still had to write site specific ones for those not covered already

Don't forget they'll want to see the chemical register too. (i.e.. hazardous chemicals found anywhere in the school, Art, DT, Maintenance Dept). *sigh*
