There is a PD day at Bowen Public School, Orange on Friday 30 October
It will cover GHS/WHS and 2 hands on session on Chemwatch/ChemgoldFFX labelling
There are still some places available for all schools

$110.00 per person (including GST) Method of payment: Direct Debit from school account for DET Government Schools. Non DET Must pay by cheque to SASS Reference Group. Once confirmed as attending, details of mailing address will be notified. Participants withdrawing from this event within 7 days of the scheduled date or “no shows” will be charged the full event amount.
PROGRAM
WHS and Me - New Work Health and Safety Legislation was introduced on 1st January 2012 .This presentation will
concentrate on the aspects of the new legislation, the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees and how it
affects the workplace.
GHS – GHS- Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is legislated to be
integrated into chemical manufacturing and trade processes in Australia over the period January 2012 to December 2016.

Be confident in Chemwatch/ChemgoldFFX labelling
By the end of this session you will confidently know how to -
* Adjust label sizes
* Add text / pictures
* Size and add borders and layering
* Any specific questions about Chemwatch/ChemgoldFFX
* Hands on work with assistance .

To those who came to Orange for this PD day last Friday, thank you for giving us the opportunity to get you up to speed with WHS/GHS and Chemwatch/ChemgoldFFX labelling. Obviously need a full day each on setting up a manifest & labelling so we are looking at doing 2 days in the new year before school goes back. So stay tuned.
By the way, the wine night market on Friday night was good entertainment didn't have far to go afterwards as our motel was just across the road
