hi everyone, welcome back.
Yes, I had a wonderful break - time away from here, and time with family. And a little get away without the kids.
So here we are.....

Has anyone else's school called this week WEEK 0, with week 1 next week?

Ah yes - I love the counting! I will put that on my computer.
Had too good a break - so was not ready to return.. minding grandsons, crocheting [ did lots of Coral for the Northern Territory Coral Reef Project ] and had a week away at Mungindi.
where is Mungindi you ask? On the border between Qld and NSW - about 1.5 hours drive NW from Moree.. about 650 kms drive from Newcastle. Great town, lovely people, cheap rent - definitely want to go back there.. Two pubs - Jolly Swagman and Two Mile; RSL; Coffee Shop, hospital, two cop shops [QLD NSW] , two primary schools and one High School - wonder if they need a Science Assistant?
and it is pronounced MUNG -IN - DIE - [the locals get upset if people say it the same as the end of bindi] AND they have the most amazing cat-heads there - they went right through the sole of my Crocs, my thongs, my joggers.. I reckon you need 30 mm soles to rise above it.
oh how I wish I - ahhhh - well I need to live so it is off to work I go

sunray, i think we drove through there on our way to Kingaroy - I drove to Moree, and we swapped drivers. :)

Has anyone else had time to scratch themselves yet?
I missed lunch on friday, so took the opportunity to have a tea break today!

hey,

Yes back into it, we had week zero last week but mostly staff and faculty meetings with some very boring IT stuff. Hope you all have a great first week back and I look forward to hearing all your great advice this year.
