ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for you to become part of our senior science team as the Laboratory Manager and leader of 3 laboratory staff.

You will be successful in:

· Allocating and prioritising tasks within a Laboratory setting

· Determining the requirements of practicals/experiments to support science teachers

· Preparing and reviewing risk assessments

· Coaching staff through safety requirements

· Providing input into the annual budget

· Reviewing and managing the asset register

· Developing, leading and managing staff

· Flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness

· Organisational and communication skills
