Does anyone do much 3D printing? If so do you have some favourite bits that you have printed and found useful in your work?

We got one as we were making hands for our stem kids to build .

But I have made electrophoresis trays .Saved a fortune on buying them

Finally actually designed something myself in Tinkercad last week .An adaptor to fit our Serrata Spectrum tubes into the new IEC Lamp power supply .

We also have one, print a heap of stuff for student projects. A few things we have printed for us

test tube holders
falcon tube holders
sample vial holders
electrophoresis trays
holders for our exam privacy dividers
Some animals for one of our display cabinets
Student clubs trophies
Cable holders/tidy - from all the interactive whiteboards

Cactus, 3D printing is so versatile once you learn the design workflow!
I'm trying to convince the HOD to buy the department a printer, but I've been using my home one in the meantime.
My favourite applications are replacing lost bits (like tape measure handles) and class set holders.

Nice work MrsCooper .

wondering what 3D design program you are using ?
I looked at Fusion 360 and my brain exploded so gave up . Then tried Google sketchup.That seemed really hard work and wasn't the right tool .
Tried Tinkercad and although its a Kiddies program , it suits my ability

Fusion 360 is where it's at, but being an industry standard it is very complicated!
I have about 6 years of design experience under my belt which helps
