Presentation title: IT for Laboratory technicians

Introduction to Chemwatch, Using CLASIFY(phenolphthalein, iodine - potassium iodide labeling, making own labels odd shaped (spirit burners, spray bottles), incorporating dot's( green,red,orangr)dangerous goods(flammable,corrosive..)into labels creating mini MSDS database, experiments order with risk assessment sheets.

Hi Jazz, I do believe it was you who sent me the Spirit Burner labels??? I did email you asking where they came from. I did not know they were from Chemwatch. I guess you have paid for chemwatch. With DET schools we do not have that choice. So I would be unable to use those lovely looking labels for our spirits burners, as I do not have assets to them. Not too sure why it has come up in STANSW annual conference???

I just had a look at the website... Where does it say what is on and how much it costs? I clicked on the link to “Our Rapidly Changing World” conference (I assume this is the one you are talking about?) but can't see anything for lab techs. Am in looking in the right place?

Hi Sue,
Spirit burner labels did not came from ChemWatch, I make them using proper warnings from Chemwatc, .
but if you can make it to the conference I’ll explain in detail it is easy to do.

I am not sure. I have to see what they offering this year. Last couple of years was same old same old. I live very close to St Marys thanks anyway.
