What do people use to produce crushed ice?
For a very long time I used a manual crank ice crusher, until it broke last year. I replaced it with something similar. It broke today less than 12 months after I bought it.
Anyone have anything electric?

Re: Ice Crusher
I have never needed crushed ice, but would 1cm cubes work? Kmart sells little silicon ice cube trays that are 1cm cubed when frozen. I keep some of those in the freezer but they do seem to evaporate out so I have to check they still have ice in them before they're needed...

Re: Ice Crusher
Our school has a training centre for hospitality students. Some of the you beaut toys they have are an ice machine and crusher.
We've got a good relationship with the Home Ec Assistants so if we need a lot of ice or crushed ice we'll pop up and ask nicely.
Any idea if Home Ec may be able to help out?
