Spinach enzyme practical

Post by gurney »

Hi everyone, We usually use potato with hydrogen peroxide, which usually works quite well, but not today. I have just been looking back on the forum and would like to try the silverbeet instead. Can someone enlighten me on what part of the silverbeet is used, the stem or leaf? If it is the leaf, how do you measure out the same amounts for each student?

Hey Denise!
Per group: Grind 1 fresh leaf, green part only in pestle & mortar with some water, then pour through tea strainer using a total of 50mls water. Use straight away and got great results.
Good Luck
