Rosalie, nothing compares with St Marys! I love the comaraderie and the fun of seeing people from all over every year.

Am still hopeful that we can set something up here in the future, albeit on a much smaller scale, and have been on an uphill learning curve these last several years with that goal in mind, but can onlt say that it's hastening slowly! However, whilever I'm in this position, I'll keep trying...

I got my form!!! Now to talk the school into letting me go AND paying for it!.. would love to come for 2 days..and I suppose miracles can happen

Oh good I'm glad you've got that sorted. I just checked and I had 3 PM messages that said the message was deleted by the author before it was delivered... Not to worry! Enjoy the conference!!!

I just checked my snail mail and received a brochure. I want to come!!! Do you think I could persuade my school to send me interstate after they just paid for a PD at the other end of this one? Looks like a heap of fun!

Ok I have faxed and my cheque is in the mail, but where am I going to stay? I rang St Marys Park View and they are fully booked, so before I book somewhere where are other people staying?

Cindy, will you have a car? The parkview is convenient for people who will be walking, but there are several hotels / motels if you are mobile...i can find a list and PM them to you.

OMG OMG OMG I just asked my Head if I could go and she has no problem with it. I just have to be able to prove it will benefit the school, well how about if I don't go they don't have a lab tech any more........ No they'll just find someone else. How about the immense knowledge I will return with and up to minute know how on everything science,yeah thats it. Can't wait to meet you all , can't stop smiling and its not even approved yet.
