Cane toads are definitely aliens. As a successful invading species, they win the prize. By the way, on a completely different tack, did you know that the taipans around Cairns have developed a population with smaller mouths than their inland cousins? It's because a snake can eat a little cane toad and not die, but if they eat a big one it's fatal. Therefore, all the small-mouthed snakes survive to reproduction age, coz their wide-mouthed friends are all dead. Survival of the fittest lives!

Cheers, K 8-)

Ha! The conversation goes that way after a few pints of 'heavy' Wharf bitters. I can't make head nor tail of it after 9! Every visit to Newcastle is an occasion. Great place. Very large alien influence (especially around the Uni) Used to love visiting my Nan in Raymond Terrace when I was a tiddler. It was in the flight path of some VERY fast low UFO objects from Williamtown. Top fun! My God Mirage jets could shake the ground.

That's hillarious! Of the thousands of languages here on Earth, what makes the 'scientist' think the Aliens will speak English?

I reckon a few fights have been started over Ringo's druming over the years, maybe that's what they mean! Play anything by Twisted Sister. LOUD! That will get a response even from intergalactic micro organisms!!!!

Ofcourse they speak English, media said so.
And they also catch a bus. There was a picture of some rock formation on mars and looked like a person waiting at a bus stop. Camera does not lie.

Have you ever had that feeling where you walk into a crowded room at the tail end of a conversation and have no idea at all that the heck is going on? :-(

Hi guys! Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Been absolutely "flat strap" with all the "beginning of the year" things. Seems like I've missed a "doosey" of a conversation! 8-[

Hear from you all next week. (I'm feeling a little alien at the moment)

Regards

Ian :D

Ian, I know what you mean. I mentioned in a P.M to you, that I have started this year at a new school, and I have been so busy, I don't know whether I'm coming or going!
I'm feeling a little alien too, hence my new avatar!!
Cheers,
Lisa
